The go-e Charger Gemini 2.0 22 kW is a wall-mounted AC charger with a Type 2 socket (EN 62196-2) — the vehicle-side cable is bought separately as an accessory, and the box only includes a 1.8 m mains connection cable (5 x 6 mm², H07BQ-F). Single- or three-phase supply lets you adjust current in 1 A steps across the 6–32 A range, so with a full three-phase connection the station delivers the full 22 kW. The IP65/IK08 enclosure suits indoor and outdoor mounting. What this device is actually good for, and when something else is worth a look.
The Gemini 2.0 22 kW suits a garage or driveway with a three-phase connection, where independence from your home WiFi (thanks to the eSIM) and integration with external systems via OCPP 1.6 matter. Have solar panels and want to charge from the surplus? The station alone cannot do that — it needs the separate go-e Controller (sold as its own product and itself requiring an internet connection) or your own integration through the open API. The Type 2 socket also means you buy the vehicle cable separately: a plus if you already own a 22 kW, 32 A cable, an extra cost if you do not. An electrician must add an external Type A residual-current device and an upstream circuit breaker ahead of the station, because the built-in DC module (6 mA DC / 20 mA AC) does not replace them. The station is not suited to billing across multiple users — its built-in meter has no MID certification, it is view-only; MID-certified metering is offered only on the go-e Charger PRO series.

Does the Gemini 2.0 charge from solar surplus?
Not on its own. The station only has built-in static load balancing; charging from PV surplus and dynamic load balancing both need the separate go-e Controller, or your own integration through the open API.
Does the box include a cable for the car?
