The Wallbox Pro is built for charging networks — office car parks, hotels, residential communities, CPO operators — rather than a single home, even though it can physically be mounted there. The station needs a three-phase 400 V supply; a single-phase connection won't unlock the full 22 kW. The variant choice matters: the Type 2 socket with a lock lets drivers use their own cable, while the version with a factory-fitted Type 2 cable (5 m) removes the risk of a cable going missing or being swapped on a public car park — the usual pick for a public station. RFID/OCPP/FreeCharge authorization and the doubled-up WiFi/Ethernet/LTE connectivity only pay off when the station runs on a network with a billing backend — for a private owner with no CPO backend, part of this feature set goes unused. Dynamic load management isn't included in the price — it needs the separately purchased Enelion EEG 3.0 module, so an installation budget should account for that if the supply has limited spare capacity. Installation must be carried out by a licensed electrician following the manufacturer's instructions — this isn't a unit meant for self-installation.
