Alfen Eve Double Pro-line Charging Station, Socket + 22 kW + RFID + LTE

PLN 13,375.88

The Alfen Eve Double Pro-line is a premium, wall-mounted AC charging station with two independent Type 2 sockets, each rated up to 32 A per phase on a three-phase connection, for up to 22 kW per socket. The station connects via LTE or Ethernet and supports OCPP 1.6 and 2.0.1, so it can be linked to a charge point management system (CPMS). Authorization is by RFID card or Plug & Power mode. The housing is rated IP54 for ingress protection and IK10 for impact resistance. As shipped, the station has one shared power-supply cable for both sockets — on this variant, the built-in Standard Load Balancing feature automatically splits the available current between the two sockets whenever the incoming supply cannot deliver the full 32 A per phase to each socket at the same time. An optional, paid Active Load Balancing feature ties that split to an external smart energy meter, dynamically adjusting charging power to the building's real-time consumption. A version with two independent power-supply cables (Double Feeder) is also available, giving each socket its own connection, plus a built-in payment terminal.

Independent opinion

The EV Compass opinion

What this device is actually good for, and when something else is worth a look.

This is a fit for a company car park, shopping centre or hotel, where serving two cars from one mounting point and RFID-controlled access both matter. In the factory default with one shared power-supply cable for both sockets, the built-in Standard Load Balancing feature splits the available current whenever the installation can't deliver a full 32 A per phase to each socket at once — worth factoring into the electrical connection sizing, since in practice it means that with two cars charging together, neither is guaranteed the full 22 kW. The optional Active Load Balancing feature ties that split to an external energy meter reading, and the Double Feeder variant, with its own cable per socket plus a built-in payment terminal, removes that trade-off at a higher price and a more complex installation. LTE and Ethernet connectivity plus OCPP 1.6/2.0.1 let the station link into a fleet or facility operator's management system (CPMS), and the IP54/IK10 housing tolerates outdoor mounting. It isn't a choice for a single-car household — one wall-mounted socket is enough there.

Strengths

  • Two independent Type 2 sockets, each up to 22 kW at 32 A per phase — two cars charge at the same time, with no queue for a single point.
  • The built-in Standard Load Balancing feature automatically splits the available current between the two sockets whenever the supply can't cover the full 32 A per phase for both cars at once.
  • LTE and Ethernet connectivity plus OCPP 1.6 and 2.0.1 make it straightforward to connect the station to a fleet, car park or facility operator's management system (CPMS).
  • An IP54, IK10 housing lets the station be mounted outdoors on an uncovered car park, without worrying about weather or vandalism.
  • Authorization by RFID card or Plug & Power mode offers flexibility — from controlled access to a quick connection with no login step.
  • The optional Double Feeder version gives each socket its own power-supply cable plus a built-in payment terminal — useful for a publicly accessible station.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions

Can both sockets charge two cars at once at the full 22 kW?

It depends on the variant and the supply. On the version with one shared power-supply cable, the built-in Standard Load Balancing feature automatically splits the available current between the two sockets if the installation can't deliver the full 32 A per phase to each at the same time — in that case, neither car gets the full 22 kW while both charge. The Double Feeder variant, with its own supply cable to each socket, avoids that limit.

What's the difference between Standard Load Balancing and the optional Active Load Balancing?

Standard Load Balancing is built into the single-power-supply-cable variant and splits the available current between the two sockets within the connection's declared capacity. Active Load Balancing is a paid option that additionally ties that split to an external smart energy meter reading (P1/DSMR or Modbus TCP/IP), dynamically adjusting charging power to the building's real-time energy use.

Does the station come with a charging cable?

No — this Eve Double Pro-line version has two Type 2 sockets rather than attached cables, so each driver connects their own Type 2 cable.

How can charging be authorized on this station?

The station supports RFID card authorization and a Plug & Power mode, where simply plugging in the cable starts charging without an extra login step.

What management system does the station integrate with?

The station supports OCPP 1.6 and 2.0.1, letting it connect to a fleet, car park or facility operator's management system (CPMS) over LTE or Ethernet.

What warranty does this station come with?

Alfen provides a 27-month carry-in service warranty on its charging equipment, covering repair at the manufacturer's service centre.
