ENELION

Vertica Pro DUO Charging Station - Manual Configurator

PLN 14,197–20,083.68

The Enelion Vertica Pro is a freestanding, dual-bay (DUO) AC charging station for CPO operators, public car parks and commercial installations — not a single home. Each of the two modules adjusts power independently from 1.4 kW to 22 kW on a three-phase 400 V supply (32 A per phase, from 6 A) and by default has its own power circuit — power isn't split between the two sockets upfront. Local balancing within the Enelion Chain (up to 100 points, CANbus) runs in firmware with no internet needed; dynamically limiting power against the building's grid connection needs the separate Enelion Energy Guard module. Two connector variants: a Type 2 socket with a lock, or a Type 2 plug. The front panel carries a large color touchscreen with dynamic QR codes for payments and advertising. Authorization runs over RFID, OCPP or a FreeCharge mode. Connectivity: WiFi 2.4 GHz and LTE (4G/GSM) with offline operation, OCPP 1.6 JSON protocol. The aluminum housing is rated IP54 and IK10, operating from -25°C to +55°C (down to -35°C with the optional Heater). The RCMB/RCDA/RCDB modules and MID meter certification are optional accessories, not built in by default. The station is fully compliant with AFIR.

Independent opinion

The EV Compass opinion

What this device is actually good for, and when something else is worth a look.

The Vertica Pro is built for charging networks — public car parks, CPO operators, commercial installations — rather than a single home, even though it can physically be installed there. Installation needs a prefabricated foundation and a three-phase 400 V supply; single-phase won't unlock the full 22 kW per module. By default, each of the two DUO modules has its own cable from the switchboard and its own independent power limit — if the supply has limited capacity and both modules are meant to charge at full power at once, plan for that at the electrical-design stage, or add Enelion Energy Guard to dynamically limit draw. The variant choice matters: the Type 2 socket with a lock lets drivers use their own cable, while a plug permanently fitted to the station is often more convenient for a car-park operator, though it costs more. The RCMB/RCDA/RCDB modules and MID meter certification aren't included in the base price — they're optional accessories, so budget for that, especially if the station needs to bill charging sessions. The manufacturer's warranty runs 36 months (3 years). Installation must be done by a licensed electrician per the manufacturer's instructions.

Strengths

  • Each of the two DUO modules has its own independent power circuit by default — power isn't automatically split between the two sockets.
  • Local load balancing within the Enelion Chain (up to 100 points) runs in firmware, with no internet connection needed.
  • Two connector variants — a Type 2 socket with a lock, or a Type 2 plug — matched to a public or semi-public station.
  • An aluminum IP54, IK10 housing rated -25°C to +55°C (down to -35°C with the optional Heater) — copes with year-round outdoor use.
  • RFID and OCPP authorization plus a login-free FreeCharge mode, with WiFi 2.4 GHz and LTE (4G/GSM) connectivity that works offline.
  • The manufacturer's warranty runs 36 months (3 years), a duration rarely seen in this class of station.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions

Does the Vertica Pro split power between its two charging points?

Not by default. Each of the two DUO modules has its own independent power circuit and can charge up to 22 kW if the supply allows it. Local balancing within the Enelion Chain runs in firmware with no internet needed; dynamically limiting power against the building's actual grid connection (e.g. when both points charge at once and supply capacity is limited) needs the separately purchased Enelion Energy Guard module.

What's the difference between the socket variant and the cable variant?

The SOCKET variant has a Type 2 socket with a lock — drivers plug in their own cable. The CABLE variant has a factory-fitted Type 2 plug, so there's nothing to carry or lose in the car park, but it costs more.

Are the residual-current protection modules included in the price?

Not always. The RCMB/RCDA/RCDB modules are available as optional accessories rather than built in by default — confirm this when ordering and budget for it, since residual-current protection is a regulatory requirement.

What's the warranty on the Vertica Pro station?

The manufacturer gives 36 months (3 years) of warranty on the Vertica Pro model, counted from the purchase date.

Is the energy meter MID-certified?

The built-in 3-phase energy meter has over 99% accuracy, but MID certification itself is an optional accessory — if the station needs to bill charging sessions for invoicing, order the variant with MID certification enabled.

Does this station suit an ordinary single-family home?

Technically yes, but the Vertica Pro is built for charging networks — public car parks, CPO operators — with RFID/OCPP authorization and two independent points that go largely unused in a private home. For a single household, a simpler single-point wallbox is often the better value.
