Chago PRO EVF200 Charging Station

PLN 18,450–28,398.93

The Ensto Chago Pro EVF200 (Ensto's own model codes: EVF200B-A4BC / EVF200B-B4BC) is a freestanding AC station for public and semi-public sites, with two independent Type 2 sockets rather than an attached cable — each driver brings their own cable. Each socket is rated up to 22 kW on a three-phase connection, up to 32 A per phase. Built-in DLM/mDLM ships as standard on both variants: it automatically balances the current the two sockets draw in real time against the site's actual available supply, so two cars charge together without overloading the installation, with no external meter needed at this level. Both variants include a built-in RCD Type A 30 mA, an RDC-DD 6 mA DC module and an MCB; the pricier variant adds a second, remotely-resettable RCD (ARD). The housing is rated IP54 and IK10, for -25 to +50°C use. Communication runs over 4G, Ethernet or WiFi with OCPP 1.6, each socket has its own MID meter, and access is by RFID reader, not a dedicated app.

Independent opinion

The EV Compass opinion

What this device is actually good for, and when something else is worth a look.

This is a purchase for a company car park, depot, hotel or fleet site — what matters is serving two vehicles from one mounting point, with access control and session billing rather than free self-service charging. Built-in load management shares available current between the two sockets, so the connection doesn't have to cover both sockets' full 22 kW at once — but if it doesn't, neither car is guaranteed the full 22 kW while both charge together, so the real simultaneous speed is worth discussing with the electrician before ordering. The two price variants differ in one respect: the base one has an RCD Type A 30 mA, RDC-DD 6 mA DC and MCB; the pricier one adds a second, remotely-resettable RCD (ARD) — mainly useful to an operator managing the station remotely, since it avoids a site visit after a trip. A buyer running one site in person may not need that extra cost. OCPP 1.6 over 4G, Ethernet or WiFi links the station into a management system, and the per-socket MID meter supports that. Access is by RFID, not an app — plan for issuing cards. The IP54/IK10 housing tolerates an uncovered mount.

Strengths

  • Two independent 22 kW Type 2 sockets, with built-in DLM that automatically splits current between them — no overload risk even on a smaller supply.
  • A freestanding IP54/IK10 housing rated for -25 to +50°C — suits an unsupervised, uncovered car park.
  • A built-in RCD Type A 30 mA, RDC-DD 6 mA DC and MCB on both variants — no separate protective device for the electrician to size.
  • An MID-certified meter per socket plus OCPP 1.6 — ready for an operator's billing and management system straight out of the box.
  • Built-in 4G, Ethernet and WiFi connectivity — flexible network choice without extra hardware to buy.
  • The pricier variant adds a remotely-resettable RCD (ARD) — an operator restores power after a trip without visiting the site.

Questions and answers

Frequently asked questions

Can both sockets charge two cars at once at the full 22 kW?

It depends on the supply. The station has built-in dynamic load management (DLM) that automatically splits the available current between the two sockets in real time — if the supply can't deliver the full 32 A per phase to each socket at once, neither car charging at the same time is guaranteed the full 22 kW. With a big enough supply, both sockets can run at full power simultaneously.

Does the station come with a charging cable?

No — the station has two Type 2 (Mode 3) sockets rather than attached cables, so each driver connects their own Type 2 cable.

What's the difference between the two available variants?

Their protective hardware. Both versions have a built-in RCD Type A 30 mA, an RDC-DD 6 mA DC module and an MCB. The pricier variant adds a second, remotely-resettable RCD (ARD), letting power be restored after a nuisance trip without a site visit — mainly useful to an operator managing the station remotely.

How is charging authorized on this station?

Through an RFID reader — the station has no dedicated Ensto mobile app, only OCPP 1.6 integration with an operator's back-office system.

Can this station be installed outdoors without a roof over it?

Yes — the housing is rated IP54 for ingress protection and IK10 for impact resistance, with a stated operating range of -25 to +50°C.

What warranty does this station come with?

Ensto covers the station with its standard 2-year guarantee, under the manufacturer's general warranty terms.
