The BESEN BN20 is the smallest and lightest portable AC charger in the BESEN lineup, rated at 3.6 kW on a single-phase 230 V supply. Charging current can be manually capped at 8, 10 or 16 A, depending on what the electrical installation it's plugged into can handle. The cable ends in a Type 2 plug and is 5 m long. Like the larger BN60 from the same line, the BN20 has no connectivity module or mobile app — charging status is shown only by an LED. Type A RCD protection with 30 mA AC and 6 mA DC, plus an IP66/IK10 housing, allow outdoor use across a -25°C to +55°C range. It weighs just 3 kg and measures 189 x 66 x 48 mm.

Independent opinion
What this device is actually good for, and when something else is worth a look.
The BN20 is the cheapest and simplest entry point into BESEN's portable charging line — for someone who needs a backup charger at home, a garage without a three-phase supply, or something to carry in the trunk just in case. At 3.6 kW on a single-phase 230 V supply it's enough for an overnight top-up, but it won't match faster three-phase charging. Adjustable current (8, 10 or 16 A) lets you use it safely on weaker sockets. The unit has no app or connectivity module — it's the simplest model in the line, operated with a single LED and no remote phone monitoring.
If you need faster charging than single-phase 3.6 kW allows, check the three-phase BN60 from the same line.
Besen BN60 — Portable 16 kW Three-Phase AC Charging StationIf you want a mobile app and remote monitoring, the BN20 doesn't offer that — look at the BN70 with its optional connectivity module instead.
