What this device is actually good for, and when something else is worth a look.
The BN70 makes sense wherever a fixed wallbox isn't practical: a rented flat, a garage with no three-phase supply, or on the road where the only available power is an ordinary industrial socket at a car park or campsite. Plugged into a single-phase socket it charges at up to 7.2 kW; connected to a three-phase 32 A socket it uses the full 22 kW. It's a budget-priced compromise — no RFID, no load management and no MID meter, so it isn't suited to billing guests or tenants. Its job is to let an EV owner charge almost anywhere there's power, not to replace a fixed wallbox used every day in a home garage.
