Porsche launches a limited Black Edition for the electric Taycan and the hybrid Cayenne (SUV and Coupé). Black accents, a larger 105 kWh battery, up to 668 km of range and a rich standard equipment list.

Porsche is introducing a limited Black Edition for the electric Taycan and the hybrid Cayenne – in SUV and Coupé body styles. The new models stand out with black accents: glossy window trims, mirror caps and the Porsche logo on the rear light bar – all finished in black. The interior is trimmed with black brushed aluminium and luxurious smooth leather.
The new Taycan Black Edition comes standard with the larger Performance Battery Plus (105 kWh), increasing range to up to 668 km (around 12% more than the standard figure). Power rises to about 320 kW, while 21-inch wheels, HD-Matrix LED headlights, BOSE® Surround Sound with Dolby Atmos, the Sport Design package and a generous Storage Package all become standard equipment.
The edition covers the Taycan sedan, Taycan 4 and Taycan 4S – in every Black Edition variant, a larger battery and additional equipment come as standard.
The Cayenne Black Edition covers classic SUVs and Coupés, including the E-Hybrid, S E‑Hybrid and S E-Hybrid Coupé versions. It offers the Sport Design styling package, black exterior elements and logos, comfort seats with memory and 14-way adjustment, 21-inch alloy wheels with Porsche emblems, Matrix LED headlights and a full BOSE audio system. Driver assistance systems – Surround View, Lane Change Assist and Active Parking Assist – are also standard.
Although the name suggests a black body, the Black Edition lets buyers choose other colours at no extra cost – the Taycan in Contrasts and Shades finishes, the Cayenne in selected metallic paints. Premium options are available at additional cost: Paint to Sample, two-tone interior choices and extended personalisation through the Porsche Exclusive Manufaktur programme.
The optional extended Black Edition package adds exclusive details such as illuminated door sills bearing the “Black Edition” lettering, a dedicated key fob with the logo and interior trim in various shades.
The new models debuted at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in July 2025. First deliveries are planned for the second half of 2025, across Europe, the USA and other key regions.
