Xos HDXT

Up to 370 km and a status nobody can confirm — the HDXT was shown in 2022 and little has happened since.

The EvCompass verdict

The key arguments drawn from the published data and the EvCompass editorial summary.

The vehicle is absent from California's current HVIP Class 8 catalogue, which for an American electric-truck maker is a signal hard to ignore. Xos publishes no battery capacity. We marked this entry pre-production and low-confidence.

Strengths

  • A 370 km range, 595 kW of power and 25,401 kg payload give the heavy tractor a concrete regional profile.

Weaknesses

  • The HDXT remains pre-production and charging power is unpublished, so the 370 km figure has no confirmed series-production backing.

Price and availability

What it costs and whether it is available in Poland

Published price evidence and the Polish availability answer, kept together for a buying decision.

The manufacturer publishes no price for this vehicle.

In heavy transport that is the rule rather than the exception — makers quote on request.

No public list price. Note that the HDXT does not appear in the current California HVIP Class 8 tractor catalogue, so there is no voucher-linked price reference either.

Poland

Not available in Poland

Not offered in PL. Xos sells only in North America.

Charging infrastructure

Recommended chargers

Chargers matched to the vehicle's published power or to a clearly stated duty profile when that figure is missing.

This vehicle does not publish its own DC charging power. The chargers below are matched to a charging profile typical for this class of vehicle (around 350 kW), not to a figure this vehicle publishes.

Research notes

The sources and research notes behind the figures, claims and editorial assessment.

STATUS UNCERTAIN - recorded as pre-production. The HDXT was revealed at ACT Expo in May 2022. As of the last clear reporting, serial production was scheduled to start late 2025 at a site adjacent to Xos's existing step-van plant in Tennessee, and Xos's CEO said the schedule was holding. Xos still lists HDXT as a product on xostrucks.com in 2026, but no confirmed start-of-production, delivery or model-year announcement was found, and the HDXT is absent from the current California HVIP Class 8 tractor catalogue (which would be the natural first market). Treat 'pre-production' as the safe reading and re-check before publishing. SPECS: 595 kW motor (electrive reports this as motor power without saying continuous or peak - recorded as peak with that caveat), 49,600 Nm torque which Xos claimed was the highest of any commercial vehicle at launch, 82,000 lb GVWR, 56,000 lb payload, up to 230 miles range. Battery capacity has never been published. Xos partnered with Allison on e-axles for these platforms. SEPARATE BUSINESS NOTE: Xos Services (Xos Trucks Inc, Los Angeles) is the California HVIP dealer of record for Windrose - the Windrose HVIP spec sheets are Xos-branded. So Xos currently sells more Class 8 tractor through Windrose than through its own HDXT. No image has been visually confirmed for framing; all four links resolve to live Xos press files.
