Electric truck and charging subsidies

A current guide to Polish support programmes for N2/N3 trucks and public heavy-transport charging stations.

Purchase or lease of an N2/N3 truck

The application call is ongoing. The programme accepts applications until June 30, 2029 or until its allocation is exhausted.

Checked on October 19, 2026

Programme budget
PLN 2,000,000,000
Maximum cap by class
N2: up to PLN 400,000N3: up to PLN 750,000

Applicants must be entrepreneurs with a registered seat or branch in Poland. The programme covers zero-emission N2 and N3 vehicles.

The maximum share of eligible costs is up to 30% for large, 50% for medium and 60% for small companies. These are ceilings, not promised awards. The support rate depends on company size and eligible costs after deducting the reference investment cost; for a lease, the initial fee also limits the amount.

Applications are submitted electronically through the Generator Wniosków o Dofinansowanie (GWD).

On September 25, 2026, NFOŚiGW announced the first signed agreement under the vehicle programme.

Public charging stations for heavy transport

The first call is closed. NFOŚiGW's schedule plans another call for Q4 2026; it does not list an exact opening date.

Whole-programme budget: PLN 2,000,000,000. First-call allocation: PLN 1,000,000,000. NFOŚiGW programme overview

The first call ran from March 31, 2025 to August 31, 2025.

For the first call, applicants had to be entrepreneurs with a registered seat or branch in Poland and apply through GWD.

Locations and power in the first call

The first-call rules covered sites on the TEN-T core network or within 3 km driving distance of its nearest exit, and logistics centres (DEPOT), operating bases and intermodal terminals or sites within 3 km driving distance of them.

The announced projects provide for at least one 350 kW charging point at each station.

NFOŚiGW recommended 170 projects covering 843 planned public stations.

These are projects recommended for support, not confirmation that every station has been built. The latest ranking notice update is dated October 5, 2026. A ranking entry alone is not an agreement or a guarantee of payment.

A separate PLN 1.26 billion programme supports distribution system operators' grid investments. It is not an application route for carriers.

The vehicle programme described here covers N2/N3 categories. This page does not confirm bus grant eligibility.
