The EvCompass verdict

The key arguments drawn from the published data and the EvCompass editorial summary.

Range was quoted on the WHVC cycle, a homologation measurement rather than a manufacturer claim — a rarity in this database, and a shame it did not survive. The vehicle qualified for the UK's plug-in truck grant. The Tilbury company appointed three administrators in May 2024.

Strengths

  • The 227 km WHVC/CVRAS result gives the 7.5 t Tevva a concrete, named measurement point.

Weaknesses

  • Motor power, torque and peak DC charging were not published, and the manufacturer ceased operations, leaving the specification incomplete.

Price and availability

What it costs and whether it is available in Poland

Published price evidence and the Polish availability answer, kept together for a buying decision.

The manufacturer publishes no price for this vehicle.

In heavy transport that is the rule rather than the exception — makers quote on request.

Tevva never published a list price. The truck qualified for the UK Plug-in Truck Grant from March 2023, worth 20 % of purchase price up to GBP 16,000 - which implies a pre-grant price of at least GBP 80,000, but that is an inference from the grant cap, not a quoted price.

Poland

Not available in Poland

Never sold in Poland. Tevva announced a mainland-Europe launch in 2022 but never established a Polish channel.

Charging infrastructure

Recommended chargers

Chargers matched to the vehicle's published power or to a clearly stated duty profile when that figure is missing.

This vehicle does not publish its own DC charging power. The chargers below are matched to a charging profile typical for this class of vehicle (around 160 kW), not to a figure this vehicle publishes.

Research notes

The sources and research notes behind the figures, claims and editorial assessment.

STATUS: Tevva Motors (Tilbury, Essex) appointed three joint administrators from ReSolve Advisory in May 2024 after failing to raise new funding, six months after its merger with ElectraMeccanica collapsed. Administrators reported a potential buyer in 2024, but no completed rescue has been confirmed - recorded as cancelled/defunct. Mass production of the 7.5 t began at Tilbury in January 2023; the truck carries 16 euro pallets and had contracts with Royal Mail and Travis Perkins. IMAGE GAP: no direct image file URLs found. Spec gaps: motor power, torque and DC charging peak were never published in the sources I reached.
