The EvCompass verdict
The key arguments drawn from the published data and the EvCompass editorial summary.
That is roughly 40 percent more than the largest European pack and shows how differently China solves the same problem: not by saving energy but by carrying more of it. SANY publishes neither a range nor a price for this version, so the biggest battery in the database is also one of the least documented. Claimed charging reaches 800 kW.
Strengths
- An 861 kWh battery is the largest pack in this truck family, so this version maximises its energy reserve.
Weaknesses
- The biggest battery in the database and one of the least documented.

Price and availability
What it costs and whether it is available in Poland
Published price evidence and the Polish availability answer, kept together for a buying decision.
The manufacturer publishes no price for this vehicle.
In heavy transport that is the rule rather than the exception — makers quote on request.
No price published for this specific variant. For scale, 360che.com lists SANY's 6x4 'MoTa 1165' pure-electric tractor at a guide price of CNY 1,200,000 and the SANY Jiangshan SE 6x4 battery-swap electric tractor at CNY 700,000. At 1 EUR = 7.85 CNY (ECB, 22 Aug 2026) that is roughly EUR 153,000 and EUR 89,000 respectively - conversion by this agent, not quoted by any source.

Research notes
The sources and research notes behind the figures, claims and editorial assessment.
861 kWh is, as far as this research found, the largest battery pack fitted to any series-production road-going truck anywhere in the world - roughly 40 % larger than the Mercedes eActros 600 (621 kWh) and larger than the Windrose E700 (729 kWh). SANY publishes only three numbers for this variant (861 kWh, 14.72 t kerb, 20-80 % <= 55 min); motor power, torque, GCW and range are NOT published and have been left null rather than inferred. Family-level figures from SANY's own site: battery range across the tractor line 282-861 kWh, energy consumption <135 kWh/100 km, energy-recovery efficiency >36 %, battery swap <5 min, 800 kW dual-gun fast charging. The 861 kWh figure is manufacturer-claimed and has NOT been independently verified by any Western outlet. SANY and XCMG together hold the top two positions in China's new-energy heavy-truck market; in Dec 2025 SANY sold 4,026 heavy trucks of which 99.58 % of its tractor sales were new-energy.
