The EvCompass verdict
The key arguments drawn from the published data and the EvCompass editorial summary.
A battery span from 280 to 565 kWh means 560 km is the maximum configuration, not what stands at the dealer. At 150 kW, refilling a battery that large takes time, so this vehicle was designed for overnight charging at base, not for the road. Renault Trucks Polska advertises up to 60 percent of co-funding.
Strengths
- A 565 kWh battery, 560 km of range and 150 kW charging make an unusually complete distribution configuration.
Weaknesses
- 150 kW of charging does not keep up with a 565 kWh battery.

Research notes
The sources and research notes behind the figures, claims and editorial assessment.
N3 by EU classification (16 t GVW), even though the research brief grouped it with the lighter distribution rigids. Single electric motor with a 2-speed gearbox: 185 kW / 250 hp maximum, 130 kW / 175 hp continuous - the only Volvo Group truck in this group where Renault publishes both figures explicitly. Battery quoted as lithium-ion, 280-565 kWh, in packs of 94 kWh (3x94 = 282 kWh is the reference configuration for the published charging times). Wheelbases 3,800-6,500 mm, rigid 4x2 only. The facelifted 2024 model adds GSR (General Safety Regulation) radar and camera equipment. Renault also sells a D Wide LEC E-Tech low-entry-cab refuse variant not covered by a separate record here.
