Quantron QHM BEV 44-400 tractor / 27-400 chassis

392 kWh and 350 km at 44 tonnes — the QHM is technically sound, but its maker went through insolvency.

The EvCompass verdict

The key arguments drawn from the published data and the EvCompass editorial summary.

Quantron filed for provisional insolvency on 29 October 2024, and the founder's holding company bought the assets on 1 April 2025 — the site still markets the model, but nobody has confirmed production volumes since the restart. Charging at 350 kW and 44 tonnes of combination weight are serious regional figures. Check that the company delivers before placing an order.

Strengths

  • A 350 km range, 392 kWh battery and 350 kW charging describe the QHM with figures missing from many conversions.

Weaknesses

  • Nobody has confirmed production volumes since the restart.

Price and availability

What it costs and whether it is available in Poland

Published price evidence and the Polish availability answer, kept together for a buying decision.

The manufacturer publishes no price for this vehicle.

In heavy transport that is the rule rather than the exception — makers quote on request.

No list price published.

Poland

Polish availability not established

No Polish dealer identified. Quantron sold through a European partner network before its 2024 insolvency; whether that network survived the 2025 relaunch is unconfirmed.

Charging infrastructure

Recommended chargers

Chargers matched to the vehicle's published power or to a clearly stated duty profile when that figure is missing.

This vehicle charges at up to 350 kW DC — the chargers below are matched to that figure.

Research notes

The sources and research notes behind the figures, claims and editorial assessment.

COMPANY STATUS IS THE CRITICAL FACT. Quantron AG (Augsburg) filed for provisional insolvency at the Augsburg Local Court on 29 October 2024. Andreas Haller Holding GmbH - the vehicle of Quantron's founder - acquired the assets and a core team on 1 April 2025, continuing the brand within the Haller Group. As of August 2026 quantron.com is live and still markets the QHM BEV, so this record is set in-production; but I found no confirmation of post-relaunch build volumes or deliveries, and the company said in 2025 that the balance between BEV and FCEV product lines was 'completely open'. AN EDITOR SHOULD RE-VERIFY BEFORE PUBLISHING THIS AS ON SALE. Specs: QHM BEV 44-400 tractor (44 t GCW) and QHM BEV 27-400 chassis (27 t GVW), both 4x2 and 6x2, up to 392 kWh, up to 350 km, 375 kW max motor power, 350 kW DC. A separate QHM BEV 27-200/280 refuse variant is listed on the current site with up to 280 kWh, 150 kW DC standard and 350 kW optional; the current site's spec tables render with headers but no values. Quantron also makes the QHM FCEV (240 kW Ballard fuel cells, 118 kWh battery, 400 kW/550 kW peak Allison eGen Power 130D eAxle, 54 kg H2 for ~700 km or 116 kg for up to 1,500 km) - out of scope as BEV but noted. The QARGO 4 EV (4.2 t, 81 kWh) was deliberately excluded as too light for this catalogue.
