The EvCompass verdict

The key arguments drawn from the published data and the EvCompass editorial summary.

Orten offers two power packages giving 100 or 150 km, and there the published specification ends — this is a workshop, not a corporation. At 7.5 tonnes the vehicle sits in category N2, below a proper truck, and it is here at the edge of scope. No published price.

Strengths

  • A 150 km range and 2,300 kg payload give the N2 truck a useful starting point for light distribution.

Weaknesses

  • Orten publishes no battery capacity for the E 75 TL, so the 150 km range has no stated energy reserve behind it.

Price and availability

What it costs and whether it is available in Poland

Published price evidence and the Polish availability answer, kept together for a buying decision.

The manufacturer publishes no price for this vehicle.

In heavy transport that is the rule rather than the exception — makers quote on request.

No list price published.

Poland

Polish availability not established

No Polish dealer identified. Orten is a Mosel-region (Bernkastel-Kues) bodybuilder and converter selling mainly in Germany.

Charging infrastructure

Recommended chargers

Chargers matched to the vehicle's published power or to a clearly stated duty profile when that figure is missing.

This vehicle does not publish its own DC charging power. The chargers below are matched to a charging profile typical for this class of vehicle (around 160 kW), not to a figure this vehicle publishes.

Research notes

The sources and research notes behind the figures, claims and editorial assessment.

Marginal inclusion: 7.5 t GVW puts the E 75 TL in N2, at the very bottom of this catalogue's scope. Published specs are thin - Orten quotes 90 kW (122 PS), 80 km/h top speed, 100 or 150 km range by power package, up to 2,300 kg payload thanks to a lightweight body, and a maximum six-hour charge. BATTERY CAPACITY IS NOT PUBLISHED for this model; a sibling Orten ET 35 M is listed at 80 kWh (400 V DC) and an 87 kWh LFP option appears elsewhere in the range, but neither can be attributed to the E 75 TL, so the field is null. A companion E 75 AT variant exists. Orten also builds a heavy-duty electric Sprinter with a box body. Model year 2018 is my inference from when the E 75 range first appeared in trade coverage; treat it as approximate. A datasheet PDF is offered on the product page and would fill most of these gaps.
