The EvCompass verdict

The key arguments drawn from the published data and the EvCompass editorial summary.

It is the longest distance in this entire database and simultaneously the least worth anything: a marketing target from February 2021 for a vehicle that never got past announcement. We keep this entry precisely so that such a number does not circulate without context. Never priced, never built.

Strengths

  • The declared 1,448 km range was a concrete target for a long-haul fuel-cell tractor.

Weaknesses

  • The figure was never validated — the vehicle was never built.

Measurement basis
Manufacturer target only, never validated: 'up to 900 miles' (1,448 km) non-stop on hydrogen. This is an announced figure for a truck that was never produced - treat as a claim, not a spec.

This is a hydrogen vehicle — the figure describes range on one tank fill, not on a battery, and is not comparable with battery-electric range.

These are manufacturer-published figures gathered through EvCompass research.

Price and availability

What it costs and whether it is available in Poland

Published price evidence and the Polish availability answer, kept together for a buying decision.

The manufacturer publishes no price for this vehicle.

In heavy transport that is the rule rather than the exception — makers quote on request.

Never priced - the vehicle never reached production.

Poland

Not available in Poland

n/a - never built or sold anywhere.

Charging infrastructure

Recommended chargers

Chargers matched to the vehicle's published power or to a clearly stated duty profile when that figure is missing.

This vehicle does not publish its own DC charging power. The chargers below are matched to a charging profile typical for this class of vehicle (around 375 kW), not to a figure this vehicle publishes.

Research notes

The sources and research notes behind the figures, claims and editorial assessment.

CANCELLED - never produced. Announced in Nikola's February 2021 North American fuel cell programme as a Class 8 long-haul sleeper on a purpose-designed North American chassis, targeted at up to 900 miles of range and slated for launch in late 2024. The programme slipped repeatedly, Nikola concentrated on the Tre, and the company filed Chapter 11 on 19 February 2025 and ceased operations, so the Two never reached customers. Included here only for completeness of the catalogue's historical picture. Nearly every spec field is null because nothing beyond the range target and body style was ever published. Note there was also an earlier 'Nikola One' sleeper concept from 2016 that was likewise never produced; the Two was its day-cab/sleeper successor concept.
