The EvCompass verdict

The key arguments drawn from the published data and the EvCompass editorial summary.

Small-series production ran at Steyr from November 2019 to around 2021 — a pilot dressed as a product, and MAN never published a price. The name returned in 2026 on an entirely different vehicle, one to be built in Kraków, so the two must be kept apart in the database. Only two clean press images were found.

Strengths

  • 150 kW DC charging and 200 km of range define a clear 26 t eTGM distribution configuration.

Weaknesses

  • Small-series production ended around 2021, so the 26 t eTGM is no longer a current model to order.

Price and availability

What it costs and whether it is available in Poland

Published price evidence and the Polish availability answer, kept together for a buying decision.

The manufacturer publishes no price for this vehicle.

In heavy transport that is the rule rather than the exception — makers quote on request.

Never publicly listed. An Irish EV-aggregator page quotes EUR 290,000 inc. VAT for an 'eTGM', but that page mixes in eTGX battery and range figures and is not a usable source.

Poland

Not available in Poland

Small-series vehicle distributed mainly in German-speaking markets and to the CNL (Council for Sustainable Logistics) trial fleet. No Polish deliveries found; long out of production.

Charging infrastructure

Recommended chargers

Chargers matched to the vehicle's published power or to a clearly stated duty profile when that figure is missing.

This vehicle charges at up to 150 kW DC — the chargers below are matched to that figure.

Research notes

The sources and research notes behind the figures, claims and editorial assessment.

MAN's first heavy battery-electric truck: unveiled 2018, small-series production from November 2019 at Steyr, ended around 2021. Only two clean press images could be found, so this record falls short of the 4-image target - MAN's press room no longer carries a full gallery for it. POWER AMBIGUITY: MAN's release says 'a 264 kW (360 hp) electric motor... maximum torque of 3,100 Nm' without stating whether 264 kW is continuous or peak. Recorded as peak with continuous left null. Widely repeated third-party figures of ~149 kWh usable / ~185 kWh installed could not be confirmed against a MAN source, so battery capacity is left null. Axle configuration is not stated in the sources checked (the CNL fleet vehicles were 6x2-4); left null rather than guessed. Not to be confused with the new 16 t eTGM premiered in May 2026 - see man-etgm-16t.
