The EvCompass verdict

The key arguments drawn from the published data and the EvCompass editorial summary.

The model was shown on 13 May 2026 and production only starts in 2027, so this is an announcement, not an offer. A modular battery of 2 to 4 packs at 80 kWh net each lets a buyer order exactly as much range as is needed instead of carrying dead mass. No price has been announced.

Strengths

  • Production in Kraków from 2027.

Weaknesses

  • Announced in May 2026 — still a year from production.

Price and availability

What it costs and whether it is available in Poland

Published price evidence and the Polish availability answer, kept together for a buying decision.

The manufacturer publishes no price for this vehicle.

In heavy transport that is the rule rather than the exception — makers quote on request.

No price announced - the model was only unveiled on 13 May 2026 and production does not start until 2027.

Poland

Available in Poland

To be built at MAN's Krakow plant from 2027 - the only Traton battery-electric truck with Polish production. Sales through MAN Trucks Polska are expected on the same eTruck programme, but no Polish order intake or price has been announced yet.

Research notes

The sources and research notes behind the figures, claims and editorial assessment.

NAME COLLISION: MAN has reused the eTGM name. This record is the NEW 16-tonne distribution truck premiered at Transpotec Logitec in Milan on 13 May 2026. The unrelated 2018-2021 26-tonne eTGM is filed separately as man-etgm-26t. The eTGM closes the gap between the 12 t eTGL and the heavy eTGS/eTGX, completing a 12-50 t modular eTruck portfolio. Drive: eCD210 electric drive unit, 210 kW (285 hp), 800 Nm, MAN TipMatic 2 two-speed transmission. Mechanical PTO up to 22 kW and an electric PTO are optional. Weights: 16.01 t GVW standard, 16.5 t optional; up to 10.6 t chassis payload with the 16.5 t option and the minimum battery count; GCW up to 33 t with a trailer. Axle configuration is not stated in MAN's launch material; 4x2 is recorded as the configuration shown in every launch image, but this should be confirmed before publication. Battery gross capacity is not published - only 80 kWh net per pack and up to 320 kWh net total. markets is empty because the truck is not yet orderable anywhere. Target applications: food and supermarket logistics, municipal, construction and waste, regional distribution.
