The EvCompass verdict

The key arguments drawn from the published data and the EvCompass editorial summary.

The same story and the same absence of material: the product page returns an error, there are no photographs, and a 141 kWh pack with shorter range was offered in parallel. Kenworth shifted its effort to the conventional-cab T series. No price and no images.

Strengths

  • A 282 kWh battery and 322 km of range double the smaller variant’s numerical range within the same pair.

Weaknesses

  • The model is discontinued and superseded by the conventional-cab T380E, so it is no longer Kenworth’s current electrification path.

Research notes

The sources and research notes behind the figures, claims and editorial assessment.

GAP: no verified reference images, for the same reason as the K270E - Kenworth has pulled the product page and both launch press releases, and the surviving kenworth.com K370 imagery is of the diesel truck. Class 7 cabover (the K270E is the Class 6 sibling); battery 141 or 282 kWh for up to 100 or 200 miles, DC fast charge in as little as one hour, wheelbases 206/218/274 in for 24/26/30 ft bodies. Two direct-drive motors of 355 hp and 469 hp were offered across the pair; the 469 hp (350 kW) rating is the one usually associated with the Class 7 K370E, but Kenworth never published a per-model split so motor power is left null. The sister Peterbilt 220EV lists Class 7 at 349 hp/260 kW continuous and 496 hp/370 kW peak. GVWR not confirmed from a primary source. Discontinued on the same evidence as the K270E; superseded in December 2025 by the conventional-cab T380E.
