Iveco S-eWay Artic (LFP, from 2026)

585 kWh of usable battery and a claimed 600 km — the S-eWay Artic is Iveco's longest-reaching promise, and still a promise.

The EvCompass verdict

The key arguments drawn from the published data and the EvCompass editorial summary.

Iveco talks about deliveries from 2026 and there is no confirmed customer handover yet, so 600 km is a manufacturer figure with no mileage behind it. LFP cells replaced the previous generation's NMC, which usually means a cheaper and longer-lived battery at the cost of energy density. Iveco Poland lists the model; GATE offers it on pay-per-use rental.

Strengths

  • Pay-per-use rental sidesteps the purchase-price question.

Weaknesses

  • Pre-production: the 600 km has no delivered vehicles behind it yet.

Price and availability

What it costs and whether it is available in Poland

Published price evidence and the Polish availability answer, kept together for a buying decision.

The manufacturer publishes no price for this vehicle.

In heavy transport that is the rule rather than the exception — makers quote on request.

No public list price. Iveco's GATE subsidiary offers the S-eWay on a pay-per-use long-term rental (fixed monthly base fee plus a per-km variable component) but publishes no rates.

Poland

Available in Poland

Iveco Poland lists the S-eWay on its own product site (iveco.com/poland/S-eWay) and issued a Polish-language press release for the new Artic; sold and serviced through the existing Iveco PL dealer network. No Polish list price published.

Research notes

The sources and research notes behind the figures, claims and editorial assessment.

Second-generation S-eWay tractor, unveiled 12 June 2025. Batteries switch from Microvast NMC to CATL LFP: 603 kWh gross in three transversal packs, 97 % usable, 12-year / 70 %-capacity design life, warranty up to 10 years / 1.2 m km. Range rises to 600 km despite the smaller pack (the NMC predecessor was 738 kWh / 500 km). Wheelbase 3,932 mm, 9 t full-pneumatic front axle, ePTO option for reefer trailers. Iveco states deliveries begin in 2026 - as of late August 2026 I found no confirmed first customer handover, so productionStatus is set to pre-production rather than in-production; an editor should re-check before publishing it as on sale. GCW is not stated in any Iveco material I could reach; left null rather than assuming 40/44 t.
