GINAF DuraTruck eWaste Collect Series

90 kWh per 100 km — the highest consumption in GINAF's DuraTruck lineup, and even that is measured without the refuse body, whose compactor and bin lift draw from the same battery.

The EvCompass verdict

The key arguments drawn from the published data and the EvCompass editorial summary.

This is a conversion of a DAF LF or Mercedes-Benz Econic chassis to 22,500-26,000 kg GVW with a 200 kWh pack — GINAF publishes no range for this model, only consumption. The brochure assigns it a motor from the DuraDrive TM 250 family, 250 kW and 3,400 Nm, but the current price list quotes 280 kW for the whole DuraTruck range, so the two sources disagree here too. The sister eSweeper on the same platform weighs 15,000 kg GVW and uses 75 kWh per 100 km — less, because it is a sweeper, not a compactor.

Strengths

  • A 200 kWh battery and measured consumption of 0.90 kWh/km give the electric refuse truck a concrete reference point.

Weaknesses

  • GINAF publishes no range at all for this model — the only figure given is consumption without the body fitted.

Price and availability

What it costs and whether it is available in Poland

Published price evidence and the Polish availability answer, kept together for a buying decision.

The manufacturer publishes no price for this vehicle.

In heavy transport that is the rule rather than the exception — makers quote on request.

No public price.

Poland

Polish availability not established

No published Polish dealer; GINAF supplies Dutch and Belgian municipal fleets directly.

Charging infrastructure

Recommended chargers

Chargers matched to the vehicle's published power or to a clearly stated duty profile when that figure is missing.

This vehicle does not publish its own DC charging power. The chargers below are matched to a charging profile typical for this class of vehicle (around 350 kW), not to a figure this vehicle publishes.

Research notes

The sources and research notes behind the figures, claims and editorial assessment.

RETROFIT / CONVERSION BUILDER. Donor chassis per GINAF's EV-Series brochure: DAF LF or Mercedes-Benz Econic glider; 22,500-26,000 kg GVW; 200 kWh battery; 0.90 kWh/km average consumption measured WITHOUT the refuse body, so a real round will draw considerably more because the compaction pack and bin lift run off the same battery. Motor figure taken from the brochure DuraDrive TM 250 family (250 kW / 3,400 Nm); the current GINAF Durable model table quotes 280 kW for the DuraTruck range, so the two GINAF sources disagree. Sister model in the same City Services family is the eSweeper (15,000 kg GVW, DAF LF or Mercedes-Benz Atego base, 200 kWh, 0.75 kWh/km) which is not given its own record here.
