Buying decision
The EvCompass verdict
The key arguments drawn from the published data and the EvCompass editorial summary.
Every image here is presentation artwork rather than a photograph of a vehicle, and no technical figure was ever published. We keep the entry for completeness and so that a years-old announcement does not come back as a product. Treat it as an announcement, not an offer.
Strengths
- Battery swapping is built into the Homtruck powertrain concept, so the project provides energy replenishment without a fixed pack.
Weaknesses
- The image material is renders, not photographs of a vehicle.

Battery and charging
- On charging
- SWAP-CAPABLE by design: Farizon announced swappable battery-electric and swappable range-extender powertrains alongside a methanol P2 hybrid. Farizon claims that within its swap network the Homtruck has 'almost unlimited NEDC range'. No swap time, charging power or battery capacity was ever published.

Research notes
The sources and research notes behind the figures, claims and editorial assessment.
IMAGES ARE 2021 REVEAL RENDERS, NOT PHOTOGRAPHS OF A PRODUCTION TRUCK. INCLUDED FOR COMPLETENESS, LOW CONFIDENCE. Revealed November 2021 as Farizon's Tesla Semi rival, with a wedge-shaped cab (Cd 0.351) and a living section containing a shower room, bathroom, single bed, fridge, tea set, kitchen and washer/dryer. Market launch was stated as 2024. It is NOT clear from accessible sources whether the Homtruck ever reached series production under that name or was superseded by the Farizon Xinghan H / Xinghan G heavy line, which are in production and share the swap-and-methanol multi-powertrain strategy. Production status is recorded as 'announced' rather than 'in-production' or 'cancelled' because the evidence does not support either. Effectively no verified technical specification exists for this vehicle - every numeric field is deliberately null.
