The EvCompass verdict

The key arguments drawn from the published data and the EvCompass editorial summary.

The NEDC cycle is obsolete today and systematically overstates range, so that 300 km should be read as an optimistic figure rather than a working one. India's Precision group acquired the company in 2020 and its present state is unclear — a credit rating contradicts a live and active-looking website. Check the status before ordering anything.

Strengths

  • A 300 km range and 24,000 kg payload give the CM Series conversion a concrete distribution profile.

Weaknesses

  • Range quoted on the obsolete NEDC cycle.

Price and availability

What it costs and whether it is available in Poland

Published price evidence and the Polish availability answer, kept together for a buying decision.

The manufacturer publishes no price for this vehicle.

In heavy transport that is the rule rather than the exception — makers quote on request.

No list price - conversions are quoted per project.

Poland

Polish availability not established

No Polish dealer identified. Emoss works through a network of seven service partners and does conversions to order, so a Polish fleet could in principle buy directly from Oosterhout.

Charging infrastructure

Recommended chargers

Chargers matched to the vehicle's published power or to a clearly stated duty profile when that figure is missing.

This vehicle does not publish its own DC charging power. The chargers below are matched to a charging profile typical for this class of vehicle (around 160 kW), not to a figure this vehicle publishes.

Research notes

The sources and research notes behind the figures, claims and editorial assessment.

Emoss Mobile Systems (Oosterhout, NL), founded 2011 by Edwin Hobbel, acquired by India's Precision Camshafts / Precision Group in July 2020 for about USD 1.44 m. It is a converter and powertrain supplier, not an OEM: it electrifies customer-supplied DAF, Iveco and German chassis. CM Series (city distribution): 60-240 kWh packs, 100-300 km NEDC, load capacity 4.5-24 t depending on the donor chassis. The EMS 1820 (18 t rigid) used a 190 kW motor and LiFePO4 cells. A discontinued E.V.E.R. range-extended semi used a 120 kWh pack with an LPG genset for up to 50 t GCW. STATUS CAUTION: a Creditsafe credit report carries a 'D' (bankruptcy) rating for Emoss Mobile Systems B.V., but the company website is live, claims ISO 9001/14001 certification, seven service partners and 1,000+ vehicles on the road, and presents itself as an active Precision Group subsidiary. I could not reconcile the two; recorded as in-production with this caveat. The current site publishes no per-model specs at all, so most fields here come from older material and should be treated as historic.
