The EvCompass verdict
The key arguments drawn from the published data and the EvCompass editorial summary.
Einride is primarily a freight operator and software company rather than a manufacturer — its cab-equipped fleet is other people's trucks. The subscription published in 2020 ran from 18,000 to 19,000 dollars a month and is the only price figure this entry has. Later generations were reported lower, in a 130–180 km band.
Strengths
- A 16,000 kg payload in a cab-less platform points this vehicle toward heavy regional work rather than light transport.
Weaknesses
- Not for sale — available only on subscription.

Price and availability
What it costs and whether it is available in Poland
Published price evidence and the Polish availability answer, kept together for a buying decision.
The manufacturer publishes no price for this vehicle.
In heavy transport that is the rule rather than the exception — makers quote on request.
Never sold outright. Einride published subscription pricing in 2020: USD 18,000-19,000 per month for AET levels 1-2 and USD 20,000-22,500 per month for AET levels 3-4, on a USD 10,000 reservation deposit. Those are 2020 US figures and almost certainly stale.

Not available in Poland
No Polish operation. Einride runs freight networks in Sweden, Germany, Benelux, the UK, the US and the UAE; Poland is not among them.
Charging infrastructure
Recommended chargers
Chargers matched to the vehicle's published power or to a clearly stated duty profile when that figure is missing.
This vehicle does not publish its own DC charging power. The chargers below are matched to a charging profile typical for this class of vehicle (around 350 kW), not to a figure this vehicle publishes.

Research notes

READ THIS BEFORE CATALOGUING EINRIDE. Einride is primarily a freight operator and software company, not a truck manufacturer: its driver-cab fleet is other people's trucks (DAF, Scania, Volvo, and 500 Tesla Semis ordered in August 2026 for the US). The Pod is Einride's own vehicle - a cab-less, remotely supervised autonomous electric rigid. Specs from the 2020 second-generation reveal: 26 t GVW, 6x2, 16 t payload, 15-18 euro pallets, 280 kWh, 200 km, 85 km/h top speed at AET level 4 (45 km/h at AET 3), six cameras, four radars, four infrared detectors, two antennas with 20 mm positional accuracy. Some later reporting quotes 320 kWh and 130-180 km for the current generation and 320 kWh for the separate Einride Trailer product - do not conflate them. Status: Einride was the first company worldwide to get permits for cab-less heavy autonomous operation on public roads (Europe 2019, US 2022), began public L4 operations in September 2025 and deployed L4 trucks with EASE Logistics in Marysville, Ohio in May 2026, but the Pod remains a small-fleet, service-model vehicle rather than a series product - hence pre-production. In August 2026 Einride announced it is integrating its 'Einride Driver' stack into DAF's electric truck platform, with first tests in 2026.
