Capacity Trucks Electric Terminal Truck
An announced electric terminal tractor with up to a 260 kWh pack is absent even from the manufacturer's own site today, which lists only CNG, LNG and LPG drivetrains.

The EvCompass verdict
The key arguments drawn from the published data and the EvCompass editorial summary.
The same Hyster-Yale powertrain runs under a different badge: ten units went to the APM Terminals facility at the Port of Mobile in 2024, with a claimed run time of about 9.5 hours on the 260 kWh pack and a recharge of about an hour. Terex's merger with REV Group, completed on 2 February 2026, placed Capacity in Terex's specialty-vehicles segment — a plausible reason a low-volume electric variant could have gone quiet. Treat this entry as unconfirmed until the manufacturer confirms availability.
Strengths
- The same Hyster-Yale powertrain already works commercially — under the Hyster badge at the Port of Mobile.
Weaknesses
- The electric version no longer appears in Capacity Trucks' current product lineup.

Price and availability
What it costs and whether it is available in Poland
Published price evidence and the Polish availability answer, kept together for a buying decision.
The manufacturer publishes no price for this vehicle.
In heavy transport that is the rule rather than the exception — makers quote on request.
No published price.

Recommended chargers
Chargers matched to the vehicle's published power or to a clearly stated duty profile when that figure is missing.
This vehicle does not publish its own DC charging power. The chargers below are matched to a charging profile typical for this class of vehicle (around 150 kW), not to a figure this vehicle publishes.

Research notes
The sources and research notes behind the figures, claims and editorial assessment.
STATUS IS GENUINELY UNCLEAR - an editor must verify before publishing, and productionStatus 'announced' is the cautious reading rather than a confirmed fact. What is documented: Capacity Trucks (Longview, Texas, founded 1974) debuted a zero-emissions lithium-ion terminal truck at ACT Expo. It uses a Hyster-Yale electric powertrain under the 2020 Hyster-Yale / Capacity Trucks partnership to co-develop electric, hydrogen and automation-ready terminal tractors. Battery options 130 kWh or 260 kWh; recharge in as little as one hour; targeted at port, intermodal and distribution/warehouse applications. What casts doubt on current availability: Capacity's own live 'Clean Air Solutions' page, checked 2026-08-28, lists only CNG, LNG and LPG as fuel types across the TJ 5000 / TJ 6500 / TJ 9000 range, with no electric option at all. The electric truck does not appear anywhere in the current product navigation. Meanwhile the same Hyster-Yale powertrain IS in series production and delivered under the Hyster badge - ten units to APM Terminals at the Port of Mobile in 2024 - which suggests the platform survived even if the Capacity-badged version is not currently marketed. Corporate context: Capacity Trucks was a REV Group brand. Terex Corporation completed its merger with REV Group on 2 February 2026, and Capacity now sits in Terex's Specialty Vehicles segment; the capacitytrucks.com footer already reads 'Terex Corporation'. A brand reorganisation of this size is a plausible reason for a low-volume electric variant to have gone quiet. modelYearFrom is null because the ACT Expo debut year is reported inconsistently across sources (2022, 2023 and 2024 all appear) and no first-delivery date could be established. Do not pick one. NO VERIFIED REFERENCE IMAGES. The only Capacity product image resolvable to a direct file URL is the TJ 5000 thumbnail, which is the diesel/gas model and must NOT be used to illustrate the electric truck.
