(BYD's passenger-car network in Poland - Cichy-Zasada, Warsaw, from Aug 2024 - is a separate channel.) EV-PRO Sp. z o.o. is also listed as an authorised BYD truck/van dealer.

The ETH8 is BYD's European heavy rigid, premiered at IAA Transportation 2024 (Hannover, Sept 2024). It is NOT a heavy tractor - it is a 19 t GVW 4x2 chassis-cab for distribution and municipal work, with a four-speed gearbox. CONFLICT: EV Magazine's IAA report quotes 420 kW / 571 hp for the ETH8; BYD's own product page states max motor power 180 kW / 450 Nm. Manufacturer figure used here. Two wheelbases: 4,500 mm (7,850 mm long, kerb 8,050 kg, payload 10,950 kg) and 5,700 mm (10,190 mm long, kerb 8,250 kg, payload 10,750 kg). Max speed 90 km/h, gradeability 30 %, 295/80 R22.5 tyres. BYD also showed the ETM6 (7.5 t rigid) and the EYT 2.0 electric yard tractor (up to 75 t GCW) at the same show - the EYT 2.0 is the only BYD product sold in Europe that approaches heavy-tractor GCW. Do not confuse the ETH8 with the US-market BYD 8TT Class 8 day-cab tractor or the Chinese Q-series tractors.
