The BS30 is a good choice if you already own a Type 2 cable (say, from a previous car) or want to choose its length yourself — a socket instead of a factory cable also means less risk of damage in a public spot, since you can take the cable with you. The station charges at up to 22 kW at 32 A, in three-phase mode. If you'd rather have a cable ready to use straight out of the box, check the sibling BN30 or SQ20 models instead. The BS30 offers no RFID cards or multi-bay load management — it's built for a single home or business socket, not a public station billing many users.
