Cybertruck in Poland: expert specs, prices and homologation status
Cybertruck in Poland sparks emotions – impressive, absurd and ill-suited to local realities. We review specs, PLN pricing, EU homologation status and driving licence requirements.
The Tesla Cybercab in Poland comes to around PLN 125,000 according to Interia.pl. The sub-$30,000 base price looks attractive, but once VAT and duties are added, the maths gets serious. See specs, production timeline and how it stacks up against rivals.

Let's be specific: the Tesla Cybercab in Poland works out to roughly PLN 125,000, according to Interia.pl. All those "$30,000" headlines sound cute, but for a Polish wallet it's no joke – it's pure gold… plus a bit of VAT and import duty. See more about electric cars in Poland.
Here's the catch: nobody from Tesla's Polish office has published detailed technical data for the local market. Foreign media, however, talk about a range of around 300 miles (~480 km) or even 400 km with a 44 kWh battery, inductive charging and efficiency of around 10 kWh/100 km. But those are global numbers, not Polish ones. You can find more about electric vehicles in our catalogue.
Global media report that serial production of the Cybercab is set to start in Q2 2026. Translation: it's not in Polish showrooms yet – and probably won't be for a long time. More on market news in Poland.
In a market where even the Tesla Cybertruck is treated like a UFO in Poland – listing prices reach PLN 470,000 and beyond – the Cybercab at "just" PLN 125,000 sounds absurdly… absurdly attractive. But for now: that's still theory, and in practice it could trigger a serious wallet squeeze.
It sounds like a Tesla converted into a space toaster – brilliant, but is it practical for everyday Polish life?
Yes – at least as a concept, like a power tool from the future that's on display today and within reach of more than one wealthy enthusiast in a few years. But right now it's more show than product.
Tesla says: "Cybercab below $30,000, production in 2026." In Poland that sounds like science‑fiction with a tax surcharge and duty on top. For us, the wonder-robotaxi is currently fantasy, not a revolution.
The Cybercab's base price is just under USD 30,000 according to Musk's announcement. Converted to PLN that comes to around PLN 125,000 – but that's a price without Polish taxes, duty and VAT. In reality the final cost for a Polish customer could be significantly higher, much like the Cybertruck, whose listing prices hover around PLN 470,000.
Serial production of the Cybercab is due to start in Q2 2026 – at least that's Tesla's promise. But that's a date for global markets, mainly the US. Polish type approval and legislation on autonomous vehicles could push the local debut back – realistically not before 2027–2028, if at all.
According to foreign sources, the Cybercab has a range of between 300 and 400 kilometres on a single charge, with a 44 kWh battery. Energy consumption is around 10 kWh per 100 km. Charging is meant to be inductive, without plugs. It is a two-seat vehicle with no steering wheel and no pedals.
Polish legislation on fully autonomous vehicles with no steering wheel and no pedals is currently practically non-existent. The law requires a car to have a driver and basic control elements. The Tesla Cybercab has neither. Before the vehicle can legally drive on Polish roads, legal changes will be needed at the national and EU level.

| Toyota bZ4X | 42000 | 405 | 71.4 | 7.7 |
