Car matcher FAQ

How is the ranking calculated?
Every car that meets your hard requirements (seats, towing, budget) gets a match score from three weighted criteria: how well its range covers your daily distance, how feasible your longest regular trip is, and how well its charging power fits whether you charge at home or in public.
Why are some cars excluded instead of just ranked low?
Seat count, towing capacity and budget are hard requirements — a car that fails one of them is not a fit regardless of anything else, so we list it separately with the reason instead of burying it low in the ranking.
How accurate is the data?
Price, range and seat count come from our catalogue. The extra charging time on a trip is an estimate based on the model's claimed DC power, not its real, measured charging curve — treat it as indicative only.
