Yutong TCe12 sold as ICe12 in continental Europe
281 kWh and 320 km with 50 seats — the TCe12 is a coach, not a city bus, and that changes the whole calculation.

The EvCompass verdict
The key arguments drawn from the published data and the EvCompass editorial summary.
Consumption works out at about 0.88 kWh per kilometre, which is credible for a high-floor coach — unlike urban claims, there is no energy recovery every few hundred metres here. In continental Europe it is sold as the ICe12. Poland is listed among its export markets, but no Polish operator was confirmed.
Strengths
- A 281 kWh battery and 320 km of range give the intercity coach a clearly described starting point.
Weaknesses
- The TCe12 GVW is unpublished, so the 320 km and 281 kWh figures have no stated vehicle-weight context.

Price and availability
What it costs and whether it is available in Poland
Published price evidence and the Polish availability answer, kept together for a buying decision.
The manufacturer publishes no price for this vehicle.
In heavy transport that is the rule rather than the exception — makers quote on request.
No public list price found. UK sales go through Pelican Yutong; deliveries to Ember, Roberts Travel and Zeelo were not announced with values.

Polish availability not established
Poland is listed among the ICe12's export markets, but no named Polish operator or fleet was confirmed in this research. Yutong's Polish importer is Busnex Poland.

Research notes
The sources and research notes behind the figures, claims and editorial assessment.
Curb weight 13,500 kg per Wikipedia; GVW not published. The 281 kWh / 320 km pairing implies about 0.88 kWh/km, which is plausible for a coach and less optimistic than most Chinese city-bus claims. Marketed as TCe12 in the UK/Ireland and as ICe12 in France and continental Europe - the two names are the same vehicle, which is why French photos show ICe12 badging. Ember Core in Scotland ran the UK's first zero-emission intercity coach service with it from 2020.
