The EvCompass verdict

The key arguments drawn from the published data and the EvCompass editorial summary.

Passenger-capacity data conflict: Yutong's own page quotes 61 to 70 in total, while secondary sources describe 40–44 seats plus about 30 standing. The 370 km comes with no test cycle, and Chinese urban figures tend to be optimistic. The Polish importer brings in the U12 instead.

Strengths

  • A 370 km range and capacity for up to 70 passengers define a concrete electric city-bus configuration.

Weaknesses

  • Passenger-capacity figures conflict between sources.

Price and availability

What it costs and whether it is available in Poland

Published price evidence and the Polish availability answer, kept together for a buying decision.

The manufacturer publishes no price for this vehicle.

In heavy transport that is the rule rather than the exception — makers quote on request.

No public list price. Yutong sells the E12 almost entirely through public tenders (Bergen/Norway, Brisbane, Santiago), and the award values are bundled with charging infrastructure and service, so no clean per-unit figure was verifiable.

Poland

Not available in Poland

Yutong's Polish importer is Busnex Poland, but Polish operators have bought the U12 (Warsaw MZA), not the E12. No E12 fleet in Poland found.

Charging infrastructure

Recommended chargers

Chargers matched to the vehicle's published power or to a clearly stated duty profile when that figure is missing.

This vehicle charges at up to 150 kW DC — the chargers below are matched to that figure.

Sources and research

Research notes

The sources and research notes behind the figures, claims and editorial assessment.

Capacity figures conflict: Yutong's own E12 page quotes 61-70 passengers (total), while secondary sources describe 40-44 seats plus ~30 standees. Recorded totalCapacity 70 and left seatedCapacity null. Battery is quoted as 422.87 kWh gross on the Yutong page; a 350 kWh option also exists. The 215 kW / 3500 Nm motor figure comes from the Wikipedia article on the closely related E10, which states it applies to both E10 and E12 - treat as MEDIUM confidence. Sold in Norway (Bergen, one of Europe's larger Yutong fleets), Australia, Singapore, Chile and Mexico; the E12 is the volume export city bus, distinct from the newer, more premium U12.
